The NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants requires us to have on file a signed completed Client Questionnaire.

These will assist you when compiling your financial information for us. Please ensure that you supply us with accurate records and information, as the IRD penalties regime is harsh, even for innocent errors.

In preparation for year-end please note that to claim a tax deduction for any bad or potentially bad debts, the debts must be actually written off your debtors records on or before 31 March 2011.

Please remember to enclose copies of receipts for donations and childcare. Donations can be claimed up to the level of your taxable income.

o    It is vital that you attend the graduate evening if you want to be considered for a position at Curtis McLean. In only very rare circumstances do applicants who haven’t come along to the evening make it to the interview process. It is a great way for you to meet the Curtis McLean team, have a look around the office and enjoy some drinks and nibbles.

As we are colloquially referred to as “Bean Counters” we thought it pertinent for us to sponsor the 2010 Best Barista award.

The Ceremony was held on 28 March and we congratulate  Hannah Rogers from Milk Crate on Ghuznee Street for winning the Curtis McLean 2010 Best Barista Award.

Many of our clients were either sponsors or nominated for awards.

We also congratulate Matterhorn for picking up two awards on the night, the Seresin Outstanding Wine List and the Spy Valley Best Sommelier went to Matterhorn’s Stephen Wong.
